Friends, greetings in Jesus Name! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was splendid. Today I will be sharing with you on what I title, “It Is Not Over Until You Win”. You may have found yourself in a situation where you are asking: Can I really come out of this mess? Will the Lord see me through in this situation? Yes, I have good news for you. The lord will see you through. He said I should tell you that, “It Is Not Over Until You Win”. The Psalmist declared, “When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy” (Psalm 126:1-5). There is nothing you are going through right now that the Lord is not aware. He is determined to fill your mouth with laughter despite the situation. All that is required of you is to fix your eyes on him, not the circumstance. Taking your eyes off God, and fixing it to your problems, will only drown you like it did to Apostle Peter when he took his eyes off Jesus (Matt. 14: 22-31). No situation is too big for God to handle. But he needs your maximum cooperation. You must have faith in him, and keep focus on him without any distraction – fear, anxiety, worry, and panting of heart.
If you notice in a game of football match, one team may be leading the other, and by all indications, it appears they will win. But all of a sudden, the game turns around in favour of the opponent. For instance, if you are a lover of soccer game like me, you can recall that the EUFA Champions League final in 2005 was between Liverpool and AC Milan. In that game everything seemed to be working perfectly well for AC Milan. They were leading Liverpool with three goals to nothing. From the look of things, it was all over for Liverpool as time was running out, and their chances of equalizing three goals were very slim. But you know what? They remained steadfast and courageous in the midst of the daunting circumstance they were faced with. They kept playing and pushing even when they were three goals down with less than 20-minutes to go. Fortunately, the seemingly impossible thing happened. The game turned around – Liverpool equalized the three goals in less than twenty minutes of the finishing time, and then went ahead to lift the trophy by a penalty shootout. Listen, 24-hours is too much for God to make you a millionaire. In a twinkle of an eye, God can change your story, and people will begin to wonder.
Really, less than a minute is enough for God to visit your situation right now and change your story. Haven’t you watched a game of football where a team scored at the extra-time of 93th minute, when the referee was about blowing the whistle? “When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream” (Psalm 126:1). It may look like a dream but God can turn around your situation in a split second. It does not take God anything to change anybody’s story. “For with God Nothing Shall Be IMPOSSIBLE” (Luke 1:37). Even in the last hour, minutes, and seconds of the 31st Day of December in this 2019, God can still rock wonders in your life. All you need is to BELIEVE! Just fasten your eyes unto the Lord, not unto any man. Become Unmovable and Unshakable in the face of any trials you may be facing right now. Put your hope, faith, and trust in God – then see Him move mightily on your behalf. One of the greatest things the enemy uses to rob us of our blessings is “Discouragement” – a state of despair, pain, distress, anxiety, and depression. The Almighty God told Joshua on many occasions, “Be Courageous” (Joshua 1:6). Don’t allow the devil to talk you out of your blessings. Don’t believe the lie that it’s over for you. Only BELIEVE! Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23). As you look to God in FAITH, I see you experiencing multiple miracles in the days ahead. Rejoice! Have a great week. With love, Elvis!
