Becoming The You God Sees

Friends, greetings in Jesus Name! Today I will be sharing with you what I title, “Becoming The You God Sees”. The Almighty God had a vivid picture in mind when He created you. Each time He looks down from heaven, it is that picture of you that He sees, not a wretched, confused, harassed, and oppressed person. You know, God wants you to see yourself the way He sees you. It is in doing so that you can enter into His fullness, glory, and be able to access all the provisions he has made available for you. Unfortunately, many people have a wrong picture or perception of themselves. Knowing that the world is governed by spiritual principles, the devil capitalizes on this weakness in the life of so many people. Why? What you behold you attract; and what you think you become. “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). If I may ask: How do you see yourself? Do you see yourself as a Giant? Or Grasshopper?
That reminds me the story of the 12 spies who were sent by Moses to search out the land which the Lord has promised to give the children of Israel. Moses selected each man from the 12 tribes of Israel to embark on this journey. On getting to the Promised Land, they encountered giants in the land. Listen, God already knew there were giants in that land before He gave it to them. He equally knew that they were well able to defeat and conquer those giants. Why? One with God is majority. God cannot give you an assignment without backing you up with the ability to accomplish it. Remember, God had earlier parted the Red Sea to let these people know what He alone can do. He also fed them all through in the wilderness with manna and a well-cooked chicken without them having to cry for food. All this He had done to strengthen their faith and believe in Him. But unfortunately, 10 out of the 12 spies confessed negatively when they saw the giants. They protested before Moses that they cannot defeat those giants in the land. When Caleb and Joshua refuted their words of unbelief, these 10 spies vehemently attacked them and shut them down.
According to Numbers 13:33, these other 10 spies said: “And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anaks, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” They concluded with their own mouth that they were grasshoppers before the giants. Because the perception they had about themselves have already been corrupted, it was easy for them to spew out negative things from their mouth. The bible declares in Matthew 12:34, “Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.” While God saw them as super giants, they degraded themselves to mere grasshoppers. In life, the way you see yourself is very important. Remember, “You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God” (Psalm 139:14). The Almighty God engrafted you on His palms (Isaiah 49:16). Meaning, you carry His DNA. According to 1 John 4:17, “As He is, so are we in this world”. Never forget, God sees Himself each time He looks at you. You bear His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26). You are precious, priceless, errorless, and invaluable before God. Therefore, see yourself the way your heavenly Father sees you. Hallelujah! Have a Blessed and Fantastic Week. With love, Elvis!
