Divine Acceleration

Friends, greetings in Jesus Name. Today, I will be sharing with you on what I title, “Divine Acceleration.” A few years ago, I sat to write a particular book titled “Born To Lead”. I did all the layout of the book and started writing. In 21 days, the book was completed. Really, the speed with which I wrote the book was mind-blowing. Not only was the book completed in record time, but also had a high-profile personality to foreword the book, and other notable individuals – both home and abroad – that made favourable comments that were published in the book. Indeed, it dawned on me afterwards that anything is possible when the grace of God is at work in our lives. Beloved, the bible declares in 1 Samuel 2:9 that, “For by strength no man shall prevail.” One major tragedy of man has always been to make God the last resort when all else has failed. I pray this will not be your portion in Jesus Mighty Name. During this past weekend, the Lord laid strongly in my heart with the word, Divine Acceleration. I strongly believe God is set to Accelerate You for Greater Exploits Beginning Now. Meaning, what hitherto you have not been able to accomplish since the beginning of the year, the Lord will give you an unusual Speed to surpass the accomplishments in this last 46-days left in 2021.
What is acceleration? The term acceleration simply means increase in speed or rate. In Physics, it means the rate of change of velocity per unit of time. Divine Acceleration on the other hand, means God’s power to bring His plans to pass at a faster rate than is humanly possible. Let me give you a picture of what I am talking about using the case of Elijah. The bible declares in 1 Kings 18:46 that, “The hand of the LORD came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.” If you read the preceding verses in this chapter, you will see that Elijah outran Ahab who was riding on a horse. Tell me, how could that possibly be if not divine acceleration at play. Have you ever heard of someone running faster than a horse? Now, you must understand that Divine Acceleration can only be by God’s enabling Grace. Someone may ask: How do we position ourselves for the Grace of God? The bible declares in Romans 4:16, “Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.” As a believer, you should know that the place of faith is so important where Grace Activation is concerned in our lives. “For by Grace you have been saved through Faith” (Ephesians 2:8). Hallelujah!
The book of Hebrews 4:1-2 declares, “Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.” From the above scriptures we just read, we can see that to actualize Divine Acceleration, we need God’s enabling grace to do so. And God’s Enabling Grace can only come by Faith in God’s word. As we receive the engrafted word of God, and mix it with Faith, then it profits our lives, thereby producing God’s enabling grace for Divine Acceleration that we need for maximum impact. Remember, the bible declares that, “Faith without works is dead” (James 2:26). Meaning, if our faith does not lead to a corresponding action, nothing happens. Why? God’s enabling grace for divine acceleration needs something to work with. One thing I have understood over the years as a believer is that, the grace of God cannot work in a vacuum. God must find something in your hand for his grace to find expression in your life. If the grace to make a million dollars hits you, and you are sleeping, idling around doing nothing, then no meaningful result will be evident in your life. A million dollars multiplied by zero remains zero.
For instance, you’re a student praying fervently to pass an exam but you’re not studying; the grace of God will be available to help, but that grace will be frustrated as a result of your laziness. The Holy Spirit can only remind you the things you have read. Yes, God is not a magician. He rewards diligence. No wonder he said in Deuteronomy 28:12, “I will bless the work of your hand.” God won’t bless the idling or lazing around of your hand. Proverbs 12:24 says, “The hand of the diligent will rule, but the lazy man will be put to forced labour.” In other words, he who does not work will be far from God’s enabling grace for exploits. “For the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits” (Daniel 11:32). Those who do great exploits for God are Grace Carriers – for they are strong and diligent – because they know their God. Yes, our God is also a Worker. He is a diligent God. Jesus said, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working” (John 5:17). Indeed, God has not ceased from working since creation, and he can’t stand lazy people around him (Matthew 25:26-30). If God ceases from working or answering our prayers, the entire universe will collapse in a second. As I round off, I pray that the Lord will accelerate all your effort this year as you put your faith into action by engaging in productive work. I see you doing great exploits. Now, Accelerate in Jesus Mighty Name. Have a Fantastic Week. With love, Elvis!
