Do Not Compromise Your Faith In God

Friends, greetings in Jesus Name! Today, I will be sharing with you on what I title, “Do Not Compromise Your Faith In God”. We live in a time and season where people are falling out of faith in Christ due to pressures of life. Really, they may have one hundred and ten reasons why they are doing so. But unfortunately, no reason is big enough to back out from Christ. The bible declares in John 16:33, “In this world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” What is that worst circumstance you can possibly encounter that the power of God cannot deliver you? Listen, it doesn’t matter the valley you may have found yourself right now. Just know that the Lord is with you right there to lift you up. “But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior” (Isaiah 43:1-3). You either believe this word of God or doubt it. The choice is yours!
Your disposition – Faith or Doubt – does not change the potency of God’s word. YES, the word of God works and it is Powerful (Isaiah 55:11; Hebrew 4:12). Unfortunately, it appears today that some people have more faith in their problems than in God’s word. The bible declares, “Have faith in God” (Mark 11:22). The word of God can never be broken (Psalm 107:20). Why? It’s because God cannot lie (Numbers 23:19). If He has said it, He will do it. The only thing that will negate God’s word from manifesting in your life is You (Hebrews 4:1-2). God has never been the problem where meeting our needs are concerned. Philippians 4:19 says, “For God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.” Usually, it is our unbelief that shut us out from God’s blessings. The Almighty God asked in Genesis 18:14, “Is anything too hard for Me?” Just tell me, what situation can be bigger than God? Practically Nothing! We must learn to look at our problems and tell that situation “How Big God Is”. Each time we feel depressed over life circumstances, we are telling God “How Big Our Problem Is”. The devil gets at you when you magnify your problems above God.
I asked after a friend whom I have not seen for some time, and I was told he committed suicide. What happened? He hung himself. Why? The pressures of life were too much for him to bear. And so? He took his life, the person said to me. Was that the right solution he needed at that time by turning his wife a widow and his children fatherless? Absolutely not! Listen brethren, I do not see any reason why anybody should take his or her life. Suicide can never be an antidote or panacea to life travails. Rather, it worsens the situation. By taking his life, this gentleman has committed a high treasonable offence. He totally disregarded life after death. Tell me, where is he spending eternity? Obviously, he won’t be in God’s presence. It is pathetic to suffer on this side of the world, and still suffer after death. That’s what I call double jeopardy. The problem we face in life gets magnified when we tune our ears to the voice of the devil, rather than the voice of God. How can we tune in to God’s voice? By paying heed to His word! This can only happen when we fix our attention to it, meditate on it, and confess it daily (Proverbs 4:20-23; Joshua 1:8). Remember, your present circumstances cannot change what the word of God says about you.
The word of God says that, “You are more than a conqueror (Rom. 8:37); Greater is He that lives in you than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4); You are rich and not poor (2 Cor. 8:9); You are blessed and not cursed (Numbers 12:6-12); By His stripes you are healed (Isaiah 53:3); No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17); You are blessed going out and blessed coming in (Deut.28:6); Whosoever shall gather together against you shall fall for your sake (Isaiah 54:15); The Lord shall prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5); Your battle belongs to God (2 Chronicles 20:15); The Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace (Exodus 14:14); You shall be the head not the tail, above only and not beneath (Deut.28:13).” Hallelujah! Look my friend, you cannot meditate and confess by faith these words of power and remain the same. How can Satan suggest to you to take your life when you are “Word Loaded”. No way! In fact, suicidal thoughts will be far from you. Now, as you go this week, just say: “Lord Jesus, I rejoice today that You are the Lord of my Breakthrough. I thank You Lord, that the Floodgate of your Power, Blessings, and Presence is Raining upon me Now. I know there is no Power that can stand against it. Nothing the devil can do to stop my Victory. I praise You Today in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen! Have a Fantastic Week. With love, Elvis!
