God is Bigger than Your Challenges

Friends, greetings in Jesus Name! Today I will be sharing with you what I title, “God is Bigger than Your Challenges”. We live in a time and season where people are falling out of faith in Christ due to pressures of life. Beloved, no reason or circumstance of life is big enough to cause you to back out from your relationship with Christ. The bible declares in John 16:33, “In this world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” What is the worst circumstance you can possibly encounter in life that the power of God cannot deliver you from? Listen, it doesn’t matter the valley you may have found yourself right now. Just know that the Lord is with you in that valley to lift you up. “But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior” (Isaiah 43:1-3). You either believe it or doubt it.
You see, some people have more faith in their problems than in God. The bible declares, “Have faith in God” (Mark 11:22). The word of God can never be broken. Why? It’s because God cannot lie. If He has said it, He will do it. The only thing that will negate God’s word from manifesting in your life is You! God has never been the problem where meeting our needs are concerned. Usually, it is our unbelief that shut us out from His blessings. A few years ago, I was discussing with a lady friend of mine who informed me that a good friend of ours is dead. Then I asked what happened to him? She said he committed suicide. I asked why? She told me the last time they met he complained that things were not going well for him financially; he’s unable to pay children school fees, and other home demands. She said he hinted about committing suicide. On hearing that, she took him aside, encouraged him, gave him some money, and warned him sternly not to do anything funny against his own life, because no matter what condition he has found himself, God is well able to pull him out. Not long after they met, she saw him on the pages of a newspaper. He has committed the suicide as planned. I was so shocked!
The Almighty God asked in Genesis 18:14, “Is anything too hard for Me?” Just tell me, what situation can be bigger than God? Practically Nothing! We must learn to look at our problem and tell it “How Big God Is”. Each time we feel depressed over life circumstances, we are telling God “How Big Our Problem Is”. The devil gets at you when you magnify your problems above God. I do not see any reason why any human being should take his or her life. Is that the solution to the problem? Of course not! By committing suicide, this gentleman has committed a high treasonable offence. He totally disregarded life after death. Tell me, where is he spending his eternity? Obviously, he can’t be in God’s presence. It is pathetic to suffer in this world, and still suffer after death. That’s what I call double tragedy. The problem we face in life gets magnified when we tune our ears to the voice of the problem rather than the voice of God. How can we tune in to God’s voice? By paying heed to His word! This can only happen when we fix our attention to it, meditate on it, and confess it daily. Remember, your present circumstance cannot change what the word of God says about you or your situation. His word says, “You are more than a conqueror (Rom. 8:37); Greater is He that lives in you than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Oh yes, You are rich and not poor (2 Cor. 8:9); You are blessed and not cursed (Numbers 12:6-12); By His stripes you are healed (Isaiah 53:3); No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17); You are blessed going out and blessed coming in (Deut.28:6); For the Lord shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19); Whosoever gathers together against you shall fall for your sake (Isaiah 54:15); The Lord shall prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5); Your battle belongs to God (2 Chronicles 20:15); The Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace (Exodus 14:14). Look, you cannot meditate and confess by faith these words of power and remain the same. No way! In fact, suicidal thought will be far from you. Now, as you go this week, just say: “Lord Jesus, I rejoice today that You are the Lord of my Breakthrough. I thank You Lord, that the Floodgate of your Power, Blessings, and Presence is Raining upon me Now. I know there is no Power that can stand against it. Nothing the devil can do to stop my Victory. I praise You Today in Jesus Matchless Name, Amen.” Hallelujah. Have a Fantastic Week. With love, Elvis!
