God Remembers.
Friends, greetings in Jesus Name. Today I will be sharing with you what I title, “God Remembers.” The Lord God Almighty does not forget things. He has records of your good deeds, the wrongs done against you, your mistakes in the past, present, and even the future. Yes, the things about you in the future that you don’t even know about, God knows and has records of it. The bible declares in Romans 9:10-13, “And not only this, but when Rebecca also had conceived by one man, even by our father Isaac (for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls), it was said to her: The older shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.” The above scripture points to us the sovereignty of God, which makes Him the Omnipotent, Omniscient, and the Omnipresent God. Our God is merciful and forgiving. Now, the fact that He is merciful and pardons iniquity does not mean that He forgets, but that he chooses to cast our sins behind His back as we repent and turn from our wicked ways (Isaiah 38:17). Hallelujah! The point of this message is not about God opening the file of your disobedience or rebellion against Him. No! It’s about God remembering you for good as a result of His outpouring of grace that covers the multitude of sins. It is a message of encouragement to let you know that God has not forgotten you; He will fight against your stubborn pursuers; for He will not leave you nor forsake you (Joshua 1:5). Yes, God has you in mind, for you are the apple of His eyes (Zechariah 2:8). So, be strong and courageous, for God will remember to do you good in this season.
A lot of times we throw in the towel – give up – and turn our backs against God because the things we’re expecting from him have not been met. Unfortunately, we forget that God is always working behind the scenes for our good. If God should open your eyes to show you what transpired last night, you’ll be so amazed to see that the devil never intended you to wake up this morning. The bible says in Ecclesiastics 3:11, “He makes all things beautiful in its time.” So, why worry and be depressed when God has your best interest at heart (Matthew 6:25-34). As Apostle Paul rightly said, “Do not be weary in well doing because in due season you will reap if you do not faint” (Galatians 6:9). Beloved, it’s your season to break forth and reap bountifully. Hallelujah! Remember, “If you faint in the day of adversity your strength is small” (Proverbs 24:10). I don’t know what you’re going through at the moment, but the God whom I serve said I should tell you that, “He will remember you today for good” in Jesus Mighty Name. Listen, man will forget, promise and fail to keep to his words, but God will never fail you. He will always remember. Therefore, put your hope and trust in God. For He will wipe away your tears, and take your sorrows away. The bible says in Psalms 30:5, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” Your joy shall be full beginning today. The Lord shall turn your mourning into dancing (Psalms 30:11). And all that the enemy has stolen from you shall be restored. For the Lord said, “I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you” (Joel 2:25). Hallelujah!
Indeed, the Lord will give double for your trouble. As He declares in Isaiah 61:7, “Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so, you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.” Now, let me remind you that our God is a God of vengeance. Nahum 1:2 says, “God is jealous, and the Lord avenges; the Lord avenges and is furious. The Lord will take vengeance on His adversaries, and He reserves wrath for His enemies.” Listen, God does not forget the evil deeds of the enemy against your life. Samuel told Saul, “The Lord sent me to anoint you king of his people Israel. Now listen to the Lord’s words. This is what the Lord of Armies says: I will punish Amalek for what they did to Israel. They blocked Israel’s way after the Israelites came from Egypt. Now go and attack Amalek. Claim everything they have for God by destroying it. Don’t spare them, but kill men and women, infants and children, cows and sheep, camels and donkeys.” You see, Amalek thought what they did against the children of Israel was a small thing in the eyes of God. Hear me, all your enemies warring against you for no just cause will be wiped out within a twinkle of an eye in Jesus Mighty Name. When God arises on your behalf, nothing can stop Him, not even your strongest enemy can withstand His wrath (Psalm 18:6-17).
The Lord said to Moses in Exodus 3:7-8, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good and a large land; a land flowing with milk and honey.” Nothing is as sweet as when God remembers you for good to help you. Not even Pharaoh with all his power was strong enough to withstand God when it was time to deliver the children of Israel. You may have been weeping and in sorrow, but God will remember you this day. The bible says in 1 Samuel 1:19, “And God remembered Hannah.” In Genesis 30:22, “Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb.” When God remembers you, your story automatically changes. It will look like a dream but a reality (Psalm 126). The story of Hannah and Rachel automatically changed when God remembered them. Now, I prophesy over your life this day, that every delay in your life is over. Yes, it has come to an end. Your season of laughter, joy and dancing is here. Why? It’s because God Almighty will remember you. Now, as you go this week, have the assurance and confidence that God is by your side (Hebrews 10:35). He will remember you today and have mercy upon you in Jesus Mighty Name. Hallelujah! Have a blessed and fantastic week. With love, Elvis!
