Friends, greetings in Jesus Name! Today I will be sharing with you on what I title, “He Went About”. Ladies and gentlemen, may I humbly begin by announcing to you that Christianity is not “a sit down” business. It is not stationary as some think. It is a “go about” way of life. Yes, a real serious business. You and I did not receive Jesus for ourselves only. It is our duty and assignment to go about spreading His good news to others. The bible declares in Matthew 4:23-25, “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. Great multitudes followed Him—from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.”

Really, a lot of believers in Christ want to see signs and wonders following them. It’s a good desire. But listen, it cannot happen while you are in a stationary mood. You have to change your gear from “parking mode” to “drive mode”. Jesus is our role model and perfect example of how the kingdom and the power of God operate here on earth. Acts 10:38 declares, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Signs and wonders followed Jesus everywhere He went. As a believer, you can’t be a carrier of signs and wonders when you are docile; doing nothing with the Jesus you carry on the inside.

Now, as you embark on this New Year, make it a top priority to “Go About in 2018 for Jesus”. And Jesus charged His disciples saying, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover” (Mark 16:15-18). Are you a true disciple of Jesus? If so, the onus is on you to “Go ye”. There is no other way to enter into His fullness other than to “Go About” doing His business. I know you have many goals to achieve in 2018, but let the “passion for the lost” be your topmost priority in Jesus Name. I see you doing Exploits in 2018. Go and advance His Kingdom; Go and conquer Territories. As you Go, Signs & Wonders will follow you in Jesus Name. Happy New Year…and Happy New You in 2018! With love, Elvis!
