Hear me, we’re living in the last days. The phrase “In the last days” is used in the bible to describe the event that would precede the second coming of Christ. Now, let me announce to you that things aren’t going to get better as we climax the age. Please, do not get me wrong; I am not a prophet of doom. I’m only sounding a clear warning to all those who care to listen about the unfolding events that would take place as foretold by the scriptures. Beloved, this is not the hour to become a lukewarm Christian in Christ Jesus (Revelation 3:14-19). With the looming events that are about to take the world by storm, you can’t afford to sit on the fence and remain docile. You’re either on the Lord’s side or the enemy’s camp. No demilitarised zone. The choice is yours to make on which side you must be (Joshua 24:14-15).

Speaking about the signs of the end times, Jesus said to His disciples in Matthew 24:4-13, “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then, they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”

Today, we hear of wars and rumours of wars. Some say that world war 3 is imminent. Going by the unfolding war between Israel and Iran, coupled with the unprecedented air strikes by the US against Iran, with Russian denying any alignment with Iran even though they have strong ties, while China weighs their options for their next move as they have strategic partnership with Iran, and North Korea issuing a warning to the US for their air strikes against Iran, one may basically conclude that there might be possibility of global conflict leading to a full scale war. In the midst of all these, we see unprecedented famine in the land, economic hardship, sickness and disease ravaging the world at large, political unrest, and natural disasters. We also see the rate of crimes soaring in our society, youth restiveness and rebellion to parents and authority, immoral lifestyles on the increase, fake preachers of the gospel on the rise, and many swimming in their ignorance, not willing to learn or come to the knowledge of truth, and so on. The fact is, all these things have been prophesied (2 Timothy 3:1-5. But the most important thing is: Do not become a victim by ignoring these warnings. “Then Jesus said, ‘Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear” (Mark 4:9).

Now, one interesting truth in all of these events going on is that the power of God will be so unleashed in these last days upon genuine servants of God. The bible declares in Acts 2:16-21 saying, “But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Yes, we’re about to experience the power of God like we have never seen before. Are you ready? It is a global move and God is strategically positioning His chosen vessels around the world whom He has earmarked for the end-time global harvest of souls.

Someone may ask: Bro Elvis, what do I need to do right now? The answer is simple. First and foremost, put your life in order. If I may ask: Have you given your life to Christ? Are you truly born again? Is who you’re in the open different from who you’re in the secret? Are you fulfilling your God-given purpose and assignment here on earth? Are you conscious about living a holy life? Do you tell others about Jesus or you’re ashamed to do so? Do you study and meditate on God’s word daily? Do you pray without ceasing? Do you belong to a bible believing church where you’re serving wholeheartedly? Are you conscious about the 2nd coming of Christ? Are you prepared to meet Him when Christ appears suddenly? Beloved, we’re living in the days and times where we must become sober and alert in the spirit. Beloved, do not joke with your Christian life. We’re living in the last days. Be prepared (2 Timothy 4:2-5). Don’t be caught unawares at this end-time. Let your light shine before men, that they may glorify God in You.
