It Is Not Over Until You Win.
You may have found yourself in a situation where you are asking: Can I really come out of this mess? Will the Lord see me through in this situation? Yes, I have good news for you. The Lord Jesus is ever willing to help and see you through. “When Jesus had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying: Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean. Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying: I am willing; be cleansed. Immediately his leprosy was cleansed” (Matthew 8:1-3). Hear me, the Lord said I should tell you that, no matter the circumstance or challenge you’re being faced with right now, “It Is Not Over Until You Win”. You will emerge victoriously in Jesus Mighty Name. The book of 1 John 5:4 declares, “For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.” You’re an Overcomer. Hallelujah!
The Psalmist declared, “When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy” (Psalm 126:1-5). There is nothing you are going through right now that the Lord isn’t aware. He is determined to fill your mouth with laughter despite the situation. All that is required of you is to fix your eyes on him, not the circumstance (Psalm 121). Taking your eyes off God, and focusing on your problems, will only compound the situation to drown you. Apostle Peter took that ugly route when Jesus asked him to come out of the boat and meet him on water. He took his eyes off Jesus that called him, and began to drown when he focused on the problem (Matthew 14: 22-31).
No situation is too big for God to handle. But God needs your utmost cooperation. You must have faith in His ability to deliver. Therefore, have faith in God no matter the situation. Yes, you must have faith in Him, and keep your focus on him without any form of distraction – fear, anxiety, worry, and panting of heart. If you notice in a game of football, one team may be leading the other, and by all indications, it appears they will win. But all of a sudden, the game turns around in favour of the opponent. For instance, if you are a lover of soccer games like me, you can recall that the UEFA Champions League final in 2005 was between Liverpool and AC Milan. In that game everything seemed to be working perfectly well for AC Milan. They were leading Liverpool comfortably with three goals to nothing.
From the look of things, the game would soon be over for Liverpool as time was running out, and their chances of equalizing three goals were very slim. But you know what? Liverpool remained steadfast and courageous in the midst of the daunting circumstance they were faced with. They kept playing and pushing even when they were three goals down with less than 20-minutes to go. Fortunately, the seemingly impossible thing happened. The game turned around – Liverpool equalized the three goals in less than twenty minutes of the finishing time, and then went ahead to lift the trophy by a penalty shootout. Listen, 24-hours is too much for God to make you a millionaire. In a twinkle of an eye, God can change your story, and people will begin to wonder.
Really, less than a minute is enough for God to visit your situation right now and change your story. Have you watched a game of football where a team scored in the extra-time, say at the 93th minute, when the referee was about to blow the whistle? In fact, I have watched so many of such games. Listen, “When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream” (Psalm 126:1). It may look like a dream but God can turn around your situation in a split second. It does not take God anything to change anybody’s story. “For with God Nothing Shall Be IMPOSSIBLE” (Luke 1:37). Even in the last hour, minutes, and seconds of the 31st Day of December in this 2025, God can still rock wonders in your life.
Remember, all you need is to BELIEVE! When the news of the death of his 12-year-old daughter came to him, Jesus said to Jairus, “Do not be afraid; only believe” (Mark 5:36). Therefore, by faith fasten your eyes unto the Lord, not on the situation. Become Unmovable and Unshakable in the face of any trials you may be facing right now. Put your hope, and trust in God – then see Him move mightily on your behalf (Proverbs 3:5-6). One of the greatest things the enemy uses to rob us of our blessings is “Discouragement” – a state of despair, pain, distress, anxiety, and depression. The Almighty God told Joshua on many occasions, “Be Courageous” (Joshua 1:6). Don’t allow the devil to talk you out of your blessings. Don’t believe the lie that it’s over for you. Only BELIEVE! Jesus said in Mark 9:23, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” As you look to God in FAITH, I see you experiencing multiple miracles in the days ahead. Hallelujah! Rejoice and have a blessed and fulfilled week. With love, Elvis!
