It Is Your Season of Favour.
Friends, greetings in Jesus Name. Today, I will be sharing with you what I titled, “It Is Your Season of Favour.” There is a shift in the realm of the spirit. Yes, things are being shaken, and the shaking is being orchestrated by God. “For thus says the LORD of hosts: Once more, it is a little while, I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory, says the LORD of hosts. The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says the LORD of hosts. The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former, says the LORD of hosts. And in this place, I will give peace, says the LORD of hosts” (Haggai 2:6-9). Ladies and gentlemen, may I announce to you that there’s wealth transfer to believers in this season. What we are about to experience is like what happened in the days of the Israelite when they were about leaving Egypt, and God showed them so much favour that the wealth of Egypt was transferred to them. “Now the children of Israel had done according to the word of Moses, and they had asked from the Egyptians articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing. And the LORD had given the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Thus, they plundered the Egyptians” (Exodus 12:35-36).
Now, what is favour? Favour means gaining approval, acceptance, or special benefits or blessings. The favour of God is the “tangible evidence that a person has the approval of the Lord.” It is God’s demonstrated delight towards someone or some persons. When God delights in you, he pours his favour upon your life. Genesis 6:8 declares, “But Noah found favour with the LORD.” I pray in the Mighty Name of Jesus, beginning today, the favour of God will locate you; where you have been rejected before, you will be accepted; your CV for job application will be favoured; your business proposal or contract bidding will come out the best in the Name of Jesus. Listen, when the favour of God is upon you, He fights for you. The Lord declares in Exodus 14:14, “I will fight for you and you shall hold your peace.” Do you know what it means to hold your peace when God fights for you? It means resting time; yes, it’s jolly time in His Presence. When God fights for you, He takes over your burdens and worries. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
I declare over your life this day, every burden militating against your destiny is over; the chains are broken, the fetters are loosened; you are free in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Hallelujah! Speaking through the mouth of Prophet Isaiah, the Lord declared in Isaiah 10:27, “It shall come to pass in that day, that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing.”Beloved, there’s an anointing of favour upon you in this season. But you must understand one thing; when you lack the understanding of your time and season, your set time of favour will pass you by. I pray that will not be your portion in Jesus Name. And very importantly, favour is not what you get simply because you are a Christian. Favour is what you receive because Mercy and Truth is in operation in your life. Proverbs 3:3-4 says, “Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man.” I pray in the Mighty Name of Jesus, that Mercy and Truth will not depart from your life.
While working on this topic of favour, the Lord said to me: “Son, as you embrace Mercy and Truth, you will become a SOUGHT AFTER.” Isaiah 62:12 says, “And they shall call them The Holy People, the Redeemed of the LORD; And you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.” Do you know what it means to be Sought Out or Sought After? It means to be much in demand; it means to be generally desired by all. Let me re-phrase it this way: It means to be Wanted so badly by many people and so hard to get or find. Just imagine people asking: “How can we find Elvis. He’s the only solution to our problem. If we can find him, the problem will be solved.” Like Daniel who shook the entire Babylon, this is what the Lord will make of you when He favours you. Hallelujah! Never forget, the favour of God upon your life is the “tangible evidence that you have the approval of God. Psalm 90:17 declares, “And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful.” When you have the approval of God, nobody can disapprove you.
This reminds me of David. He was so disapproved by his own family, but God approved him above them. While Prophet Samuel came to his family for the Holy Sacrifice, he was not even invited to the ceremony. He was relegated to the back of desert to watch over the sheep, but unknown to his detractors, God has approved him to be King over Israel. The book of 1 Samuel 16:10-13 declares, “Thus Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, “The LORD has not chosen these.” And Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all the young men here?” Then he said, “There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep.” And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and bring him. For we will not sit down till he comes here.” So, he sent and brought him in. Now David was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the LORD said, “Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!” Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward.” Psalm 84:11 says, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.” I declare over your life, as you walk uprightly before God, no good thing will He withhold from you in Jesus Mighty Name. Hallelujah! Have a Blessed and Fantastic Week. With love, Elvis!
