Friends, greetings in Jesus Name! Today I will be sharing with you on what I title, “Operating In The Supernatural”. The Almighty God wants us to operate on a higher dimension in life. John 4:24 says, “God is Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” Listen, no man can reach God while operating in the flesh. God does not dwell in the natural realm. He is a spirit. For this reason, God seek out for those whose heart are loyal towards Him that operates in the same frequency like Him. He said in Genesis 1:26, “Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness”. Meaning, let’s make man to operate in the same class like us. When I was a little boy, there was this magician that usually comes to my hometown. When he begins to perform, people will gather around him. I still remember he will assemble pieces of papers before our eyes, do some incantations, place the papers on the ground, and then cover it with a bowl. He will then remove the bowl, and all you see is paper currency– naira notes – real money.
But that is not even my concern. Usually when performing those tricks, he will make some bold statements that says: “The more you look, the less you see”. As a young boy I didn’t give much thought or attention to those words. But when I grew up and gave my life to Christ, then I realized the angle where the magician was coming from. In actual sense, he was saying, “As long as you are in the natural realm, you will remain short-sighted. In other words, all my gimmicks being performed before your very eyes will appear so real that you will continuously patronize me to your own detriment.” That reminds me in 2 Samuel 6:8-17, where the King of Syria laid siege against Israel, because a certain Prophet called Elisha, continuously reveals all his plans to the King of Israel. Then he sent his men to Israel to capture Elisha. Now when they surrounded the city where Elisha was staying, the servant of Elisha who was with his master became so afraid. Elisha was at peace. But his servant said to Him, “Alas, my master: what shall we do”. Then Elisha prayed, and said, “LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see.
And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.” Just imagine how confident this young man became afterward. Why? He saw beyond the natural into the supernatural realm. The young servant realized that, they that are with them, are more than they that are with their enemy (2 Kings 6:16). Hallelujah! Like Elisha, do you want to see and operate in the realm of supernatural? Well, there is a price to pay. One of such prices is to consecrate your life to God – by submitting yourself wholly to him, following his instructions, and doing what is pleasing in his sight. While speaking to his disciples, Jesus said to them, “Blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear” (Matthew 13:16). Many today are blind and deaf because they are living in rebellion; while a whole lot have chosen to remain as baby Christians – not growing up – spiritually (Galatians 4:1; Hebrews 5:12-14). And as a result, heaven is shut against them. As you go this week, delight in God’s presence, seek what pleases the Lord, and He will begin to show you secrets about your life purpose, family, business, career, and the nation. Remember, “Call unto me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3). Have a blessed and fantastic week. With love, Elvis!
