Take ACTION

Friends, greetings in Jesus Name! Today I will be sharing with you what I title, “Take ACTION”. Is there any such thing as the perfect moment or timing? Yes, there is! In God’s calendar for man, every moment is a perfect timing to do what is required to be done at that moment. I see some people doing nothing but waiting for “just one perfect moment” from God. Listen, “He that observes the wind shall not sow” (Eccl.11:4). Each day you wake up is the perfect time to do something that will draw you closer to realizing your dream. Do you have a dream or vision? Then you must set it in motion. To get to where God is taking you, you must start doing something Now! Your dream awaits action – and that action may require you – writing some things down, praying and fasting, asking the Lord some questions, seeking for answers, and taking strategic steps as He leads the way. You do not reach your goal in an instant. We’re not created to have dull moments by doing nothing.
Achieving your dream is predicated upon doing something on a daily basis. If you do nothing, nothing happens. There is a saying that preparation precedes opportunity. This also goes by the saying that, “Success occurs when preparation meets an opportunity.” Really, success has eluded many people in life because their preparation time to achieve success has been used to engage in frivolous activities that have produced nothing, but rather loss of opportunities. A few years ago, my organization needed the services of an Office Assistant that would be of great help to our company. We interviewed some candidates, and there was this particular young man who looked great. While trying to make up our minds to hire him, we discovered he lacked competence in the use of a computer. Unfortunately, we did not have the time to start training him on computer skills he ought to have learned by himself. He lost out! There are things you shouldn’t wait for others to teach you. When opportunity knocks at your door, but you are not prepared, you will miss it. Many have come and died not fulfilling their dreams. Why? They are waiting to hear an audible voice of God, like the time of Moses, saying to them “Start Now”.
Look, the moment God gave talents to man, that is the moment God expects Him to start taking actions by deploying those talents. The bible declared in Matthew 25:15 saying, “To some He gave five talents, to some two, and to another He gave one, according to each man’s ability.” And immediately, the one with five talents went into action, and doubled the talents. Likewise, the one with two talents deployed his own and he gained extra two talents making four. But the steward that was given one talent did nothing but buried it. He short-circuited his blessings by doing nothing. Jesus said in John 9:4, “I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work.” To get to your destination in life, you must take some steps. According to Psalm 37:23, “The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord”. The Bible didn’t say, the sitting down of the righteous. No! The steps of the righteous.
Listen, God will not intervene in your situation if you stay idle without taking a step of faith to do something. “For without faith it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6). “For the just shall live by Faith” (Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38). Remember, Faith is Action. “For faith without work is dead” (James 2:17). The woman with the issue of blood for twelve years said to herself: If only I may touch the hem of his garment, and I will be made whole. She didn’t stop there. She took a step of faith, and made a move to touch the garment. Immediately, she was healed and completely made whole (Luke 8:43-48). Listen, in preparation for His ministry, Jesus started early by taking action-steps to teach in the Temple at age 12 (Luke 2:42-49). At age 30 He was well matured to launch fully (Luke 3:23). You must make a move if you want to see tangible results in your life this year. Remember, today is your “Perfect Moment”. So, launch out! Hallelujah! Have a Fantastic Week. With love, Elvis!
