The Force of Revelation

Friends, greetings in Jesus name! Today, I will be sharing with you on what I title, “The Force of Revelation”. Let me begin by saying that, there is no insurmountable mountain in life. “For with God all things are POSSIBLE” (Luke 1:37). Whatever refuses to give way in your life is because you lack the depth of revelation needed to tackle it. A preacher once said, “There is no mountain anywhere; every man’s ignorance is his mountain.” Jesus told Peter, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch” (Luke 5:4). The treasures of this world are never found on the surface. They are in the Deep. You have to launch deep into the earth to find gold; the same goes for crude oil and precious stones. Peter replied Jesus, “We have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless, at your word” (Luke 5:5). You see, what puts a man ahead of others is not physical strength or activities. “For by strength shall no man prevail” (1 Samuel 2:9). It is what a man knows which others don’t know that elevates him above others. “For my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6).

Listen, when Peter obeyed, by keying into that word, he experienced what most charismatic preachers of today refer to as “The Net Breaking Miracle”. Peter caught so much fish that his net started breaking. Really, Peter had a choice to have ignored the instruction given by Jesus. Why? He has toiled all night and caught nothing. Unfortunately, he has been launching on the surface. But when he caught the revelation of that word, “launch out into the deep”, his story changed. It is only the depth of revelation of God’s word that can offer you access to all the treasures of life. You can never achieve success in a thing when you keep applying wrong methods. Whatever you do not have an answer for remains a mystery until you find it out. We all know that every door has a key. Until you locate the right key for the door, you cannot gain access. Now we have what it is called “Master Key” which can give you access to any door irrespective of its key. In the spirit realm, that master key is Revelation. A man is grounded to a spot until lifted by revelation. Are there certain things you watch others do with ease while you keep struggling at it? You may ask: How are they doing it? The answer is REVELATION. It means having an insight into a hidden matter.

Remember, “The secret things belong to the Lord our God” (Deut. 29:29). Ephesians 1:17-18 declares, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened.” Revelation is an illumination. It brightens and shut out darkness. When you enter into the flow of divine revelations, your eyes of understanding get enlightened. Really, your next level in life is predicated upon your level of revelation. Where revelation stops in your life, you equally stop there. The day certain things are revealed to you, your position in life changes automatically. An encounter I had with Christ in 1996 changed my life. Prior to this encounter, I have given my life to Jesus many times, and I took it back from Him on each occasion. But when I encountered a fresh revelation of the person of Jesus, my disposition about Him changed. Since then, I have never looked back. It is the revelation of the personality of God – who God is, through constant and unhindered fellowship with Him – that connects you to His grace, and set you apart from the crowd like Daniel.

There is an adage that says, “The person ahead of you is not smarter than you are; it’s just that he is doing early what you are doing late.” Meaning, he has contacted early enough on something which you lack – God’s revelation. The question is: What are you doing late that others are doing early, that needs immediate change right now? Remember, revelation does not come on its own. You have to seek for it. David said, “One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple” (Ps 27:4). “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know”, says Jeremiah 33:3. “In the first year of his reign, I Daniel understood by books” (Daniel 9:2). Daniel in his days sought for God’s revelations through intense study, prayer, and constant fellowship with God. You know what? God never failed Daniel each time he called upon Him. As you seek God’s face this week, He will open your eyes of revelation and understanding, to unlock all doors to the miracles you need in Jesus Name! Have a super-blessed week. With love, Elvis!
