Friends, greetings in Jesus Name! Today I will be sharing with you on what I title, “The Time Factor”. Let me begin by saying that you only allocate time to what is important to you. If staying in front of TV is the most important priority in your life, you will always have the time available to watch movies above every other thing else. May I announce to you that one major theft of Satan in your life is the stealing of your “time”. How does he do it? By continuously leading you in making wrong decisions over the use of your time. You see, the accumulation of wrong choices over a long period of time, leads to destiny disaster, if nothing is done about it. The enemy knows that the more wrong decisions you make in engaging in meaningless activities, the more your time will be wasted. According to Benjamin Franklin, “Lost time is never found again.” The devil knows this so well. Therefore, he derives pleasure in helping, and encouraging you to channel your precious time in doing the most irrelevant things that will add no value to your life. It is his desire that you finish in sorrow at the end of your pilgrimage here on earth.

No wonder the bible said, “Do not be ignorant of the devices of the devil; lest he takes advantage over you” (2 Cor. 2:11). Really, ignorance is a disease. “For my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). The opposite of knowledge is ignorance. Unfortunately, many people, especially believers in Christ, operate heavily in ignorance. And they are paying dearly for it. In a matter of days, we would be saying goodbye to 2018. To some, it has been a great year of achievement. While for others, they are already looking back in regrets, due to lost opportunities resulting from wrong channeling of their time. Now, the psalmist said, “Lord teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom” (Psalm 90:12). This is a very good prayer that everyone of us must pray. Why? Our time here on earth is very short to be wasted doing the unimportant things. While having a private discussion with his disciples, Jesus said to them, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work” (John 9:4). What makes the above scripture so critically important is that, there is time for everything in life.

According to Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.” From this scripture, missing your timing in life can be very dangerous. Funny enough, many people are working behind schedule, and that brings so much burden to their lives. I pray as we journey through the remaining part of this year, you will not look back in regrets. Rather, you will look back in jubilation and thanksgiving for all the good things the Lord has accomplished through you in Jesus Name. Have a blessed and fantastic week. With love, Elvis!
