Don’t Fear

Friends, greetings in Jesus Name! Today, I will be sharing with you on what I title, “Don’t Fear”. One of the crippling powers of the devil so used effectively well against humanity has always been Fear. Yes, this one weapon has always worked well for Satan. If the devil can get you to be afraid about anything, he has gotten you. Throughout the bible, you will hear God admonishing us to FEAR NOT. Why? Fear is to Satan, as Faith is to God. If you focus on the Lord, you give him access and power into your life, but if you focus on Corona Virus, you as well give it access and power into your life. In a nutshell, what you focus on, has power over you. Listen, what you fear you attract…and what you confront you defeat. Job said, “The thing which I greatly feared has come upon me” (Job 3:25). Hear me, many people have died before their time as a result of fear. The moment fear comes into your life, you loose faith and the fortitude to overcome your challenges. I have seen people who were doing so well and bubbling with life, but upon getting a negative report of their health by a doctor, they start dying slowly. You will discover that from that moment, it’s no longer the sickness that kills them, but the fear of the sickness.

The bible declares in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given you the spirit of Fear; but of Power, Love, and a Sound Mind.” From this scripture, what God has not given me cannot be part of my life. The scripture is clear about what God has given us: (1) Power: For I give unto you power to trample upon serpent and scorpions and over all the powers of the enemy, and nothing (not even Covid-19) shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19); (2) Love: God is love (1 John 4:8) and we are in Him, and Him in us; Therefore, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear” (1 John 4:18); (3) Sound Mind: “Let this mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5); “For we have the mind of Christ” (1 Cor. 2:16). What is the mind of CHRIST? A mind full of Faith, not Fear of what the enemy is doing. Listen, when it appeared that Pharaoh and his horse-men were about to overtake the children of Israel after they left Egypt, they became so afraid. Why? Right in front of them was the red sea, and behind them was Pharaoh coming after. But the Lord spoke through Moses and said to them, “Fear not, stand still; and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you today” (Exd.14:13). Did God save them? Yes, He did; just like He will do for you in this LOCKDOWN.

Remember, “Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). God expects you to see more of Him in your challenges. When you do, you magnify Him and expedite His Mighty Hand to Save. Now, let me sound a little warning to those, especially believers in Christ, who keep posting negative news about Corona virus. We have heard enough. Most Christians today have become useful tools and agents of Satan unknowingly to propagate FEAR. They go about seeking for fearful news to spread. They don’t pray or hear a word from the Lord. Really, it’s sad. Like I said earlier, Fear opens the door to Satan, just as Faith opens the door to God. Ask YOURSELF: Which door have I been opening? You and I are not journalists. Let’s post scriptures, prayers, words of hope, instructions and revelations of what God is saying at this moment…and not become labourers and employees of the evil one. Let’s be on our KNEES and FOCUS on God at this MOMENT. May this LOCKDOWN produce the BEST You in Jesus Name. Have a Fantastic Week. With love, Elvis!
