Friends, greetings in Jesus Name! Today I will be sharing with you on what I title, “He Shall Supply All Your Need”. Let me begin by asking: How would you feel if you realize that God cannot keep to His words or promises? If that happens, it will definitely make Him less of a God. As a matter of fact, it will be a huge disaster and disappointment to His creation. But fortunately, that can never happen because it is not God’s nature to lie or disappoint. Yes, there are other gods who won’t keep to their words, but our God cannot lie (Num.23:19). He said in Luke 21:23, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” God magnifies His word above His name (Psalm 138:2). When He says, “a thing He means it”. In my experience with God so far, I have come to realize that He is never too early or too late, but always right on time. We live in such a time where unmet needs abound in the lives of many people. Many today are under pressure to meet their needs ranging from house rent, children’s school fees, feeding, just name it.
The current world situation can make anyone loose heart. I heard of a man who disappeared from the hospital on hearing that his wife had just delivered triplets. He was so afraid of how to settle the medical bills, and the only option he had in mind was to take off. We learnt the Lagos State Government settled the medical bills, and encouraged him to return to his family. In the midst of all these challenges, the Lord is saying to us: “Let not your heart be troubled” (John 14:1); and “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6). We cannot get God’s attention when we are agitated, murmuring and complaining. We must come to a point where we become so confident in God to answer our prayers. Hebrews 10:35 says, “Cast not away therefore your confidence in God, which has great recompense of reward.”
It grieves God when we are not sure He will come through for us. That reminds me of the children of Israel, whom God gave His word of taking them to the Promised Land. He performed a number of miracles to assure them of His caring nature. He sent them manna from heaven, delivered heavenly cooked chicken to them, parted the red sea in their very eyes, but yet, they doubted Him, murmured, and complained about His ability to save. In so doing, many died in the wilderness without seeing the Promised Land. As a child of God, you are not governed by the economy of this world. No! You live by the heavenly economy where the currency or exchange rate does not lose value. God never fails. He will never let you down as you put your trust in Him. No matter the situation, just wake up each morning declaring the promises of God over your life. You are Blessed! Enjoy your week. With love, Elvis!
