Friends, greetings in Jesus Name! Today, I will be sharing with you on what I title, “Intimate Fellowship With The Holy Spirit.” Let me begin by saying that the Lord still has a remnant who are able to decode and download his agenda on earth. Unfortunately, a large multitude of His children are deaf and dumb. While having a quiet moment with the Lord in this lockdown, He dropped a thought in my spirit saying: “Have you considered why many of my children were taken unawares by covid-19 pandemic ? He continued and said, many of my children had plans, programs, and lined-up activities that came to an abrupt end. But why, He asked? You know, when God start asking you a question, just bear in mind He already knows the answer. And if you do not have a clear answer to the question, wisdom demands that you don’t try guessing. Simply shut up! And say only, “Lord, speak for your servant knoweth not”. At this point, He took me to Deut. 29:29 that says, “The secret things belong to the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Then He asked again: Will I keep a secret from my servants whom I love so much, on matters pertaining to their well-being? He answered, absolutely not. At this time, I asked: Lord, why all these questions? He said, “many of you my children are far from me, even when I long to be with you. And because you are far, your ears have grown dull, and you can’t hear when I speak.”

The bible declares in Isaiah 59:1-2, “Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.” You see, what usually keeps the Lord’s secrets away from us is our iniquity, and also our immaturity resulting from stunted growth, and deadness to spiritual matters. There are so many Christians who claim to have given their lives to Christ for over a quarter of century, but unfortunately, there is no evidence of spiritual growth; no workings and dealings of the Holy Spirit in their lives; no difference in lifestyle between them and unbelievers; they are not bearing fruit and cannot account for a single soul won for the Lord; they still harbor hatred, bitterness, and unforgiveness with one another; they cannot be trusted with money, and not even a business transaction. As a matter of fact, on mentioning that you’re born again with some business partners, they quickly turn-off. Why? They have gotten their fingers burnt and deceived by the so called “born against” believers. Listen, the world isn’t going to get better. It’s going to get darker and darker as we climax the age (2 Timothy 3). Really, it’s just the beginning (2 Tim.4:3-5). But the good news is: It will get brighter and brighter for God’s elects, who live under the influence and intimacy with the Holy Spirit (Malachi 4:2).

Who is the Holy Spirit? And why do we need Him at this critical moment? The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. For we have: God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 13:14; Luke 1:35). Yes, the three are One (1 John 5:7; John 1:1;14). Now, the Holy Spirit is here on earth – not in heaven – with the purpose to teach, guide, comfort, and reveal to us the things to come (John 14:26). The book of Amos 3:7 says, “Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” Yes, the Holy Spirit is the Revealer of the FUTURE (Acts 21:11; Luke 2:26; 1 Cor. 2:9-10). He saw Covid-19 coming, while many of us were busy making different plans. But He chooses to reveal His secret to them that fellowship with Him intimately, so they can be warned and take cover against the onslaught of the wicked one. The question is: Do you have an intimate fellowship or relationship with the Holy Spirit as a “Born Again” not “Born Against” believer? Can the Holy Spirit confide in you? Beloved, we are in the last days. The line is going to get clearer between those serving God and those worshipping the devil. Like my mentor and pastor, Tunde Bakare, rightly said in his recent broadcast: “There will be only two classes of people living in this present age; it’s not the rich and the poor; but the righteous and the wicked.” Unfortunately, the Lord is angry with the wicked. In fact, Psalm 7:11 puts it succinctly this way: “God is Angry with the WICKED EVERYDAY.” So, which class do you belong? The Wicked or the Righteous? I leave you to meditate and answer that question.
