You Have Not Failed Until Your Faith Fails.

Friends, greetings in Jesus Name. Today, I will be sharing with you what I title, “You Have Not Failed Until Your Faith Fails.” As long as your faith is intact and remains unshakable, it doesn’t matter what the devil throws against you, or the victory he records against you, just know that it won’t last. Yes, it’s for a season. As a believer in Christ, a failure of faith in God, grant Satan access into your life. You must be able to stand for what you believe, if you must overcome the devil. And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail” (Luke 22:31-32). When your faith fails, you’re gone. Listen, Christianity is a battle of faith. Yes, it’s a battle to either believe God or deny Him through unbelief. Jesus said to his disciple, “Have Faith in God” (Mark 11:22). What is FAITH? The book of Hebrews 11:1 gives us a clear definition of faith: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” This means you don’t have to see it before you believe it; rather, you believe it, then it manifests into reality. The book of 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” Oftentimes I hear people say “If you can see it, you can believe it.” No! That’s not FAITH. Jesus declared in Luke 18:8, “When the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
The question is: Why so much emphasis on FAITH for the life of a believer? It is because: First, without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6 declares, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Second, Faith is to God what fear is to the devil. God is moved by our faith, not our fear. Fear is what fuels Satan to action to keep as many as possible in captivity; but faith is what fuels God to action so He can rescue and deliver. In several instances in the Bible, we see God encouraging us with the words “fear not.” He said in Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Third, you need faith to wage a good warfare against the onslaught of the devil. The book of Ephesians 6:16 declares, “Above all, taking the shield of faith with-which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.” While admonishing his spiritual son Timothy, Apostle Paul said to him in 1 Timothy 1:18-19: “This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck.”
Fourth, without faith, the devil will sift your life. Today the devil has made a mess of so many lives by sifting their destiny (Luke 22:31-32). The only thing that can keep you going in moments of trial is your FAITH. Your faith becomes your strength in times of adversity. The Bible declares in Proverbs 24:10, “If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.” What kind of strength is the Scripture talking about here? Is it physical strength? No! It’s your spiritual strength fueled by FAITH in God to withstand the tempest of life. Fifth, Faith is a must if you want to do great things for God. Check everyone who has done wonders for God, they were all men and women of faith. In Hebrews 11:30-35, the Bible gives an account of great heroes of faith: “By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace. And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again.” What’s the assessment of yourself if Jesus should appear before you now? Will He find you standing in faith or departed from faith?
Listen, the subject of faith cannot be over-emphasised. The life of faith for a Christian is not a suggestion; it’s not even an option or recommendation. No! It’s a Command. The Bible categorically made it clear four consecutive times that the just shall live by FAITH. In Habakkuk 2:4: “The just shall live by his faith”; Romans 1:17: “For the just shall live by his faith”; Galatians 3:11: “For the just shall live by his faith”; Hebrews 10:38: “Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” Hallelujah! Based on these four Scriptures, you can see how important it is for the “just” to live by FAITH. Who is the “just”? The just is a believer who has received Christ into his or her life. They have right-standing with God. Now, being “justified” in Christ Jesus is the only way you can maintain a sound relationship with God, and that’s the faith-way. As believers, we’re not immune to the storms of life. The Lord knew the storms of life that we’re going to face, and He gave a command that we should live by faith. I pray as you go this week, your faith will not fail. Like the woman with the issue of blood, your faith will rise to the occasion, and bulldoze every obstacle sitting against your destiny in Jesus Mighty Name (Luke 8:43-49). Hallelujah! Have a Blessed and Fantastic Week. With Love, Elvis!
